Itinerary

Day 1
Departure - Depart on your Lan Chile flight to Santiago.

Day 2
Santiago - Upon arrival in the airport, meet & greet by our local representatives. 8:30pm 1/2 Citi-Tour: visit the Cerro San Cristobal in downtown Santiago ending in the Wine Museum for a debriefing of your tour. Dinner at the Camino Real Restaurant within the same building complex.

Day 3
Vineyard Concha y Toro & Santa Rita - Breakfast in hotel. Visit the beautiful foothills of the Andes Mountains called Cajon del Maipo. Here we will stop at the vineyard Concha y Toro founded in 1883 by the Marquis de Casa Concha, now a region of 750 hectares. Continue to the vineyard Santa Rita on a picturesque mountain road bordering the Maipo River. Along the way you will see the colonial structures which have remained since the foundation of these vineyards leading into the vast agricultural Heartland of Chile.

Day 4
Vineyards Montes, Viu Manent and Bisquert - Breakfast in hotel. Heading south on the Pan-American Highway towards Santa Cruz, home of more than 27 renowned vineyards. On the way you will pass the colonial Municipality of Nancagua, as well as many colonial Manor homes. Your first stop will be the Montes Vineyard in the valley of Colchagua. The land here is characterized by a 45 degree slope with southern exposed vines yielding grapes exposed to a softer sun, for a delicate and balanced wine. Followed by a visit to the Vineyard Manent where you will also enjoy a traditional luncheon meal. This visit will include a tour of their modern distillery systems. Finally you will visit the Bisquert Vineyard located in the Peralillo region. This vineyard has the capacity to maintain up to 5 million liters of wines at a time. Following this last visit a return to your hotel in Santiago.

Day 5
Vineyards Cousiño Macul and Citi-Tour - Breakfast in hotel. Cruise through the northern area of Santiago, once the Manquehue Vineyard land, now home to expensive high-rises, garden apartments, boutiques and malls. As you near the Andean foothills you will arrive at the Cousiño Macul Vineyard, the most reminiscent of Spanish colonial vineyards. Upon your return lunch at the Ibis – Borde Rio restaurant. After lunch Citi-tour beginning with the Civic Centre, Colonial Centre, Metropolitan Cathedral, Historical Museum, Barrio Bellavista, and into the modern commercial downtown.

Day 6
Valparaiso – Viña del Mar and Isla Negra - Breakfast in hotel. Leave Santiago en route to the Pacific Ocean to Chile’s largest commercial and colonial port: Valparaiso. On the way visit two important vineyards in the Curacavi Valley, Veramonte and Indomita Vineyards. Veramonte Vineyard has the largest continuous vineyards in Chile and Indomita Vineyard, where you will learn the exact process for vinification. Continue to Viña del Mar, a coastal city adjacent to Valparaiso famous for its beaches and resorts. Lunch at the Delicias del Mar restaurant. After lunch visit Isla Negra, where the museum-home of the world renowned poet Pablo Neruda is located. 8:30pm transfer to Balli Hai restaurant, a traditional Easter Island Chilean restaurant. Enjoy live music and a folkloric dance show.

Day 7
Leisure Return Day - Breakfast in hotel and morning at leisure for any last minute shopping or relaxing. 1pm transfer to Como Agua para Chocolate restaurant, a truly scenic gustatory experience. Return to hotel for packing and check-out after lunch. Transfer to International airport for return flight.
