India has been the home of spirituality for over 4000 years. This particular tour takes us through the sacred passages of great saints, sages, holy men, and philosophers, who practice the simple precept of "LIVE AND LET LIVE." The tour will provide an opportunity to interact with these spiritual gurus.
The tour offers Yoga techniques that take you deep into the innermost recesses of the mind where the self resides, protected by the mind's defenses. It has become all the more relevant for each of us in the hectic and stressful life expected ahead in the 21st century. Yoga literally means "Union." An ancient Indian discipline, Yoga seeks to unite the individual soul (Jivatman) with the universal Soul (Paramatama) through rigorous mental and physical efforts. The aim of yoga is the enable the Yogi to transcend sense perceived, temporary appearances, unrealities and attain a vision and an experience of the super sensuous Divine Reality as well as attain peace and harmony. Our tours will take you to the birthplace of Yoga where real Yoga masters will give lessons in natural surroundings on the foothills of the Himalayas.
We offer an opportunity to nurture the spirituality within you by exploring the rich mystic history of India. Optional extensions at the end of the tour for learning / practicing the Art of Living (Sudarshan Kriya), Yoga / Meditation, and Spiritual teachings can be organized according to individual requirement.
Ayurveda, India's ancient science of healing is at a conservative estimate, some 3000 years old. This traditional form of Indian medicine was developed by ancient sages whose observations led to the development of constitutional medicine. The ancients visualised the universe as a constant play of energies, an imbalance of which created discomfort and disease in the body. It was the duty of the physician to harmonise this imbalance of the body-mind and environment.
Ayurveda is purely herbal based, its medication made from the roots, the leaves, the sap or even the bark of a tree, from small shrubs and weeds, from spices and their extracts. No chemicals are used and so there are no harmful or painful side effects.
The team of expert physicians would examine you before deciding on the course of therapy. A team of expert masseurs and masseuses are available for massage sessions that assure total relaxation of body and mind.
