Itinerary Price Trip Specifics
Day 1
Departure - Depart on an International flight aboard your selected carrier from USA to Costa Rica. Upon arrival, transfer from the international airport to hotel in San José.
Day 2
Tortuguero - After breakfast travel to Tortuguero by boat. The Tortuguero National Park park protects over 350 species of birds and mammals, including endagered species such as Green Macaws, Jaguars, and is the most important nesting site for the green turtle in the north Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. The immense diversity of flora and fauna will give you the opportunity to admire many species of birds, monkeys, and insects.
Day 3
Tortuguero - Another full day in Tortuguero National Park to explore to incredible array of natural resources and wildlife. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner provided during your expedition.
Day 4
San José - Breakfast in Tortuguero. Return to San José viewing the incredible scenery of the Costa Rican countryside. On the way stop for a local lunch. Upon Arrival in San Jose, evening at leisure to enjoy the company of locals and other travellers and local pubs and restaurants. Dinner and overnight at selected hotel.
Day 5
Monteverde - After breakfast, guided transfer to Monteverde. On the way, you will visit the Poas Volcano National Park. This volcano is famous for having one of the largest craters in the world and for its constant geyser eruptions. After visiting the volcano, you will continue to the town of Sarchi, where you will be able to purchase some souvenirs such as articles made of wood or leather, oxcarts, hammocks, t-shirts, coffee, etc. Enjoy a delicious lunch at Las Carretas Restaurant, located right next to the Oxcart Factory. Dinner and overnight at El Establo Hotel.
Day 6
Cloud Forest - Breakfast, lunch, dinner and overnight at El Establo Hotel. In the morning, enjoy a walking tour in the world famous Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. This reserve is home to many species of birds, including the Resplendent Quetzal, one of the most beautiful birds in the area. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 7
Playa Langosta - After breakfast, guided transfer to Playa Langosta, located in the north pacific coast of the province of Guanacaste (near Tamarindo Area). Here you will enjoy an all-inclusive beach resort with many amenities.
Day 8
Playa Langosta - Barcelo Playa Langosta Hotel Resort. A full day to take advantage of the many amenitities this Pacific Coast resort has to offer.
Day 9
San José - After breakfast, transfer back to San Jose. Leisure Day in San Jose to buy souveniers, catch up with new friends and explore this quaint capital city. Overnight at selected hotel.
Day 10
Return - Breakfast in hotel. Transfer to International airport for return flight to USA.
